Ran for Honolulu mayor in 2008 and came third garnering 28,800 votes (~17%) and in the 2010 special election coming third with 38,408 votes (~19%). Very pleased to have received the 2011 PIARC Sustainability research award. Out of 2,000 scientific papers, 620 were selected for the conference and 8 received awards. Facts and plans are included in this evolving slideshow. In 2010 we concluded three years of analysis of the traffic and parking at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The study was completed in 2008 but then Halemaumau Crater errupted and half of the Crater Rim Road was closed. All the analysis had to be re-done. This is the final slideshow presentated to the National Park Service staff of HAVO. |
